Day 1 / Baku - Turkmenbashi
Arrival in Turkmenbashi by ferry from Baku. Check-in to Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meals: D.
Day 2 / Turkmenbashi - Ashgabat
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Ashgabat. Lunch independent en route. Arrival in Ashgabat, check-in to Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 / Ashgabat
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour of Ashgabat: Lenin Monument, new mosque, Turkmenbashi revolving statue, local Russian bazaar, etc. Visit the Museum of History or Museum of Turkmen Carpets (optional). Lunch independent (Tours by bus, not motorcycles or bicycles). Dinner at local Restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 / Ashgabat - Mary
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mary. Lunch independent. Arrival in
Mary. Accommodation at Hotel. Excursion by our a/c coach: Visit Ancient Merv is by far Turkmenistan's most recognized heritage
site. It impresses in its vastness of 2,000 ha including five different city-sites from three millennia and with numerous monuments and shrines remaining from the Muslim
period. Merv has recently been included into the UN List of World Heritage
Monuments. The important architectural monuments include Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum and Gyz Gala
Fortress. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 / Mary - Turkmenabat
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Turkmenabat, lunch independent. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at
Hotel.

Day 6 / Turkmenabat - Farap
Breakfast. Drive to Bukhara, cross Farap border into Uzbekistan.
